James Atha is appointed company director

James joined the company in 2007 as an engineer after graduating from Salford University. Early project involvement included Media City and The Baths Hall. His strong communication skills, project leadership, and commitment to promoting the company through CPD presentations and networking has helped build long‑standing client relationships and secure significant repeat business.

Over the years, James has led major projects across a wide range of sectors including the Manchester City Etihad expansions, Circle Square, Tocumen Airport, St John’s – Enterprise City, Chester Storyhouse, Lancer Square and Old Granada Studios, as well as over 40 Apple stores worldwide.

James has played an important role in the growth and development of our Manchester office and the wider company. His contributions include training and mentoring engineers, representing Sandy Brown at Salford University presentations and recruitment events, managing case studies and news content for our website and LinkedIn, and serving as a valued member of the Health & Safety Working Group. As the Manchester office has expanded, he has successfully led his own sub‑team over the past year.
