Key design considerations
Key acoustic considerations included:
- Control of reverberation in the central atrium by the provision of sound absorbing treatment to the drum
- Control of reverberation in the fitness suite
- Control of airborne and structure borne noise and vibration transfer from the fitness suite down to the studio spaces below to facilitate quiet uses in the studios
- Control of structure borne noise and vibration transfer due to heavy weightlifting in the strength and conditioning suite.
