The McEwan Hall is the University of Edinburgh’s graduation hall and main ceremonial space. It can also host music events and conferences as well as Edinburgh Fringe Festival events.

The hall underwent major renovations which included the full replacement of the building services systems, integrated behind the historic listed building fabric, and the addition of new basement seminar spaces around the perimeter of the hall.
